die grundsätzliche Empfehlung ist immer nur einen Bootmanager zu
verwenden.<br>
Ich hatte Debian und 2x Windows 7 parallel installiert und habe
dann das Upgrade auf Win 10 bei beiden Win 7 Partitionen gemacht.<br>
Die Windows Installation hat Grub nicht beschädigt aber ich habe
jetzt 2 Bootmanager "hintereinander".<br>
Beim Booten startet bei mir zuerst grub, wenn ich dann Windows
wähle muß ich nochmals zwischen beiden Win Partitionen auswählen.<br>
Ich war bisher zu faul Grub nochmal drüber zu installieren.<br>

Experiemente am Bootmanager sind extrem gefährlich. Wenn es schief
geht kann man eine oder mehrere Partitionen nicht mehr starten.<br>
Nachdem Sie SuSE haben wäre meine Empfehlung, wenn Sie mit
"BIOS-Legacy" oder so ähnlich booten:<br>
Versuchen Sie mit den Suse DVDs zu booten. Ganz früher (SuSE 6.4
etc) gab es in den Menüs eine Option, mit der man eine
installierte Partition booten konnte. Das war sozusagen der
Notfall Ersatz für einen beschädigten Bootmanager.<br>
Wenn es diese Option noch gibt merken Sie sich bitte, wie Sie
diese Option aufrufen.<br>
Entweder testen Sie mit dieser Ihre Partitionen durch und notieren
sich, auf welcher Partition welches OS liegt.<br>
Oder Sie suchen sich Anleitungen aus dem Netz für Grub und den
Windows Boootmanager und schauen in beiden configs nach, welche
Partition gestartet wird.<br>
Danach konfigurieren Sie grub neu mit den Partitionen, die Sie
sich aufgeschrieben haben. Vermutlich muß man die Windows
"Nummerierung" noch auf Linux umrechnen. <br>
(sowas wie disk (0,2) ==> /sdb2 oder so ähnlich) <br>
</font><font size="-1"><font size="-1">Oder sie versuchen eine
Neuinstallation aus Yast heraus, wo der Yast die Partitionen
selber sucht und erkennt.</font> <br>
Wenn die Auflistung nach der Erkennung plausibel aussieht können
Sie es probierne und durchführen lassen.<br>
Dann sollte auch nix schief gehen.<br>
<br>
Wenn die Bootmethode UEFI ist, kann ich auswendig aus der Hüfte
keinen Rat geben. Uwe vielleicht?<br>

<p style=" margin-top:0px; margin-bottom:0px; margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px; -qt-block-indent:0; text-indent:0px;">Bis zur Installation des neuen 42.3 hat Grub immer normal funktioniert. Aber jetzt kann ich meine Linuxversion nur über Umwege starten. Ich vermute, dass Grub die Startreihenfolge der beiden HD-Disks nicht richtig erkennt (trotz mehrfacher Änderung der Reihenfolge). Das muss ich jedes Mal beim Neustart manuell erledigen.</p>
